Even before this introduction to this brand new hotel review blog, we have already started the ball rolling with our first review with Nostalgia Hotel.
And indeed, this is the sign of things to come, and what this site will primarily focus on. Hotel reviews, photographs and videos will be abound as the site progresses over time.
For those who have been following the Silver Chef, which itself, focuses on food, we like to think of the Silver Bed as a companion site to the Silver Chef.
As hotels and food do share quite a lot of commonality, this site will evolve to include some of the Silver Chef's relevant eating places to complement the various hotels that will be featured here.
And why hotels you may ask? As we have already expounded quite a lot of energy and effort on the Silver Chef. While, for one, I have been involved in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, albeit in a more technological perspective.
But throughout this time, I have also been very educated on the ins and outs of the hotel industry, and have built up quite a network of associates and friends within this line. I felt I should take advantage of this network and knowledge to share with the cyberworld the fascinating industry of hospitality, especially within this region.
Thus, I felt this is the right time to embark on this sister blog to cover hotels and review hotels in pretty much the same style and tone that I have been doing with the Silver Chef.
Looking around, while there are a lot of food review blogs on the internet, there is very little hotel review blogs, especially from a particular traveler's perspective. So, I am donning the persona of the Silver Traveler here instead of the Silver Chef.
Hopefully, this site will grow in the same regard that the Silver Chef has done so over the last 5 months, and in the process, become a beacon for hotel review blogs not just for this country and region, but eventually, everywhere as well.
So, let's begin our silver travels today!

If it is for the latter, my neighborhood Balestier Budget Hotels has lots of them in my facebook. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=147610&id=527026760
